Cohesity Build Day Live

For every gigabyte of data that enterprises create, they store between three and ten gigabytes of copies of that data. For every high-performance database server, we have a dozen servers that are holding less performance critical data. Cohesity is here to help us deal with data copies and tier-2 data storage in a holistic way to reduce the cost of holding all of this data and unlock as much value as possible. In our first Build Day Live event of 2019, we will be getting up close and personal with the Cohesity Data Platform and looking at what it does and how to get it working. I have been working with Cohesity for a few months and documenting what I learned along the way on my personal blog, the collection is linked off this page.

We will start with our mobile vSphere lab and using Cohesity to protect the VMs in that environment. Hopefully, we will get some cloud involvement, maybe DR to the cloud or deploying copies of our production environment into a public cloud for testing major changes. We might also look at how Cohesity helps you protect data in public clouds, through integration with cloud services or with some help from their partners.
